“Dressing Up Broadway” with JoAnn Bethel – Principal Dresser at Chicago the Musical on Broadway
JoAnn Bethel is celebrating 33 years in the Entertainment industry, starting with New York City Opera and New York City Ballet. Broadway highlights include: Meet Me in St. Louis, Oh Kay!, Victor Victoria, Secret Garden, Tommy and the longest running American musical Chicago. National Tours of Saturday Night Fever and La Cage Aux Folles. Production Wardrobe Supervisor for Barry Manilow Music & Passion Las Vegas as well as U.S., Canada and European Tours. New projects include: Associate Producer for George Hamilton – A Helluva Life, Carol Woods – Ain’t We Got Fun / The Music of Richard Whiting at the Metropolitan Room, New York City August 2016 and the new musical Son of Captain Blood.
“No Drama: Acting for the Real World” with Barbara Andres- Award Winning Broadway Actress
Barbara Andres was born-in-a-trunk to the musical comedy team, Masters and Rollins. She debuted on Broadway in the 1969 musical Jimmy followed by The Boy Friend, Rodgers and Hart, Rex, On Golden Pond, Doonesbury, Kiss of the Spider Woman, A Delicate Balance, and Cabaret. Ms. Andres’ extensive television and film credits include Law and Order, all three productions, Gossip Girls, Damages, RescueMe, What About Bob?, After the Storm, Random Hearts, and Thirteen Conversations About One Thing. From New York to Tokyo she has created more than 200 roles at theaters including Lincoln Center, Roundabout Theatre, Manhatan Theater Club, Signature Theater, The Public Theatre, The Guthrie Theater, Arena Stage, and American Repertory Theatre. In 2014 she received a Drama Desk Nomination for Outstanding Lead Actress as Mama in the Transport Group Company’s production of I Remember Mama.
