The National Chorale returns to the Festival this year to present another emotionally charged program. The only professional choral organization to establish and maintain an annual choral-orchestral series in a major New York City concert hall—for 48 years at Lincoln Center—with additional concerts at Carnegie Hall, they venture from their New York City home to join the Festival. Under the baton of Dr. Everett McCorvey, they will perform famous choral works by Beethoven, Mozart, and George Gershwin.
Join us starting at 5:30 for a pre-concert dinner with local food trucks.
On the Program
Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart: Vesperae solennes de confessore K. 339
George Gershiwn (arr. Michael Fennelly): A Tribute to Gershwin
George Gershiwn (arr. Jack Jarrett): Rhapsody in Blue
Ludwig van Beethoven: “Ode to Joy” from Symphony No. 9
